Fine Native American Art from a Private Collection
October 02, 2015 until February 16, 2016
This special exhibit includes paintings from the Marvin and Betty Rubin Collection of Native American Art which they have amassed over a long career of collecting. This collection is art of the modernist Indians of the post-Indian School style – Native American paintings of artists who have chosen to abandon the Santa Fe Indian School two-dimensional art style and to adopt an avant-garde style of painting in a more modern verve.
