Pueblo Katsina

August 07, 2006 until August 24, 2006

An exhibit of 40 older katsina dolls, dating from around 1920 to 1950, and varying in size from 6 inches to over 2 feet. Some are identifiable to a specific carver but most are of an age where the carver’s name is no longer available. The katsinas represent the pantheon of gods from Zuni Pueblo and the Hopi Pueblos.
