Although Otto Pentewa did not sign his name to his work, anyone familiar with older katsina dolls can easily recognize them. This wolf is very typical of his carvings. It is published in Hopi Katsina: 1,600 Artist Biographies (see details below) on page 241.
Condition Report: It is in very good condition, with the exception that the toes of both feet have been broken off and glued.
