Special Exhibit of Hopi and Zuni Traditional Katsina Dolls

December 02, 2011 until December 31, 2011

A preview of a selection of mid-twentieth-century Hopi and Zuni katsina dolls, most dating from around 1920 to 1950 and varying in size. Some are identifiable to a specific carver but most are of an age where the carver's name is no longer available. The katsinas represent the pantheon of gods from Zuni and Hopi Pueblos.
