Gary Weisman Artist

Sculptural artist Gary Weisman focuses on the classical human figure and is certainly influenced by the historical significance of body sculpture. His sculptures have a grace of design and reflect his interest in Greek sculpture and Italian Renaissance. His sculptures are breathtaking, sensual, and strong. Weisman performs every step of the process for making sculptures, from making the clay form to adding the patina as the final step.

Weisman was born in 1952 in Chicago, IL. He studied sculpture and drawing at The Art Institute of Chicago and at Washington University.

Gary Weisman lives and works in Albuquerque, NM. His works are exhibited at galleries worldwide.
