Christopher Youngblood, Santa Clara Pueblo Potter
+ Add Artist to My Preferences
Christopher Youngblood (born 1989) was introduced to the art of pottery by his talented mother, Nancy Youngblood. After learning the fundamentals of traditional pottery making, he ventured into his own creative path. This decision has proven to be exceptionally wise, as his work is distinct and diverges from the conventional Santa Clara black pottery. Christopher is celebrated for his matte black pottery, which features a highly polished finish. He is the son of Nancy Youngblood and the great-grandson of the renowned potter Margaret Tafoya.
