Artist signature of Curtis Naseyowma (1963- ) Hopi Pueblo, Hopituh Shi-nu-muCurtis Naseyowma, of Hopi and Taos Pueblo heritage, is a celebrated contemporary Katsina doll carver whose work has garnered numerous awards. Active since before 1989, his carvings are highly sought after and have earned him accolades at prestigious events such as the Santa Fe Indian Market, the Hopi Show at the Museum of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff, and the Heard Museum Show in Phoenix. Born in 1963, Naseyowma is part of a talented artistic family that includes Elizabeth Joyce Naseyowma, Gelbert Naseyowma, and Gregory Naseyowma.
