Nez Perce Corn Husk Bag from E. I. Couse Studio [SOLD]

This corn husk bag is from the studio of E. I. Couse, the famous Taos artist of the early 20^th century.  It was purchased by the current owners from Fenn Galleries, Santa Fe, in 1991. There is a lead-secure tag from Fenn Galleries as well as the original sales ticket specifying the provenance to the Couse studio.

The current owner, a fine wood worker, made a wood and metal stand to display the bag in an upright position.  The stand will accompany the corn husk bag.

Condition:  The bag is in original excellent condition.  The colors are still vibrant.
