Elizabeth Trujillo signature

This stew bowl by Cochiti potter Elizabeth Trujillo is boldly decorated on the exterior with connected arrow heads completely encircling the bowl.  On the interior is a traditional Cochiti design for rain.  Trujillo has been actively making pottery since the 1970s.  Her large storage jar entered in competition at Santa Fe Indian Market in 1990 was judged the best pot.  The bowl is signed Elizabeth Trujillo Cochiti Pueblo 6/7/81.

 

Condition:  There is no evidence that the bowl has ever been used.  It is in original condition.
