Silver & Turquoise Crucifix [SOLD]

Leo Coriz (1913-1997) was one of the most widely respected silversmiths at Santo Domingo Pueblo. He was the catalyst in preserving Silversmithing at his pueblo. This crucifix is comprised of a sand cast Christo figure overlaid on a silver cross. Two coral and two turquoise cabs are set at the extremities of the cross.

The handmade silver chain is comprised of alternating rings and loops. The cross is signed LEO CORIZ.
