Polychrome over Red Flat-top Seed Jar [SOLD]

Apple Blossom is a daughter of Joseph Lonewolf. She works in the style of her dad and her aunt, Grace Medicine Flower.

This seed jar features an almost flat, but just slightly domed, top which the artisan used for displaying her chosen design, which is a hummingbird approaching a flower for the nectar.

The top of the jar is so small, and the scale of the design so reduced, that one wonders how the artisan was able to execute the design in such a clear and concise manner. The hummingbird features green paint on its body and the flowers are rendered in blue.

The base of the jar is so small that the artisan could only sign with her initials A.B. and her flower hallmark. It is in original excellent condition
