Plains Indian Paintings

Adobe Gallery is pleased to present a collection of excellent paintings by a variety of exceptional Plains Indian artists, including Allan Houser, Stephen Mopope, Carl Sweezy, and Fred Beaver. 

The exhibit includes early works—Sweezy's, most notably, which provide a link between early ledger art and traditional Plains paintings—alongside pieces that date to the mid- to late-twentieth century.

The exhibit opens Friday, June 7th with reception from 5 to 7 pm.  It will continue through July 5th.
