Paula Shaw has lived in Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico since 1982. She regularly travels between these two beautiful areas to unite with other artists and paint “plein aire”.

She continually maintains painting workshop programs in both study and teaching. She is privileged to have studied with some of the distinguished, talented artists of our time. Always paying attention to new techniques of expression, Paula emphasizes, <font class=italics>“I am always looking and learning–searching for new ways to charm the art lover’s eye, create a lovely color, capture a dramatic afternoon’s light, express with skillful purpose an explosion of color, or reveal a sentimental scene that sparks its own memories.”</font>

Paula’s work is treasured in both private and corporate art collections around the world. A full-time artist, she has been painting professionally for over twenty years.
