Charles P. Limbert (1854-1923) worked with and for a number of furniture manufacturers before opening his own firm in 1902 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He moved to Holland, Michigan, in 1906 where he remained until his death in 1923. He manufactured American Arts & Crafts furniture from 1902 only until 1918 when production ceased. In 1922, Limbert sold his company to D.B.K. Van Raalte and A.H. Landwehr, following a stroke the previous year. He passed away in 1923 at age 68. The company continued manufacturing furniture under the
