This small silver cuff with stamped whirling log designs was made to appeal to tourists traveling on the Santa Fe railroad who wanted items that had authentic Native American designs. It is stamped with the traditional “Whirling Logs” design, symbolizing the four sacred directions of the Diné people.
The bracelet is made for a small wrist and is stamped with whirling logs and feather designs. It is unsigned and in almost new condition.
What is a Whirling Log Symbol? the swastika - or "svastika" from the ancient Sanskrit language - is one of our most universal and positive symbols. Literally it means "auspicious mark", but in various cultures it has signified well-being, highest perfection, happiness, pleasure or good luck. What is also does here is date the piece before WWII.
Condition: the bracelet is in like new condition.
