Born in 1941, Rance Hood, also known as Au Tup Ta (Yellow Hair), has received numerous prestigious commissions. Notably, he was commissioned by Turbo West Aircraft Company to design the exterior of the Cheyenne III jet aircraft. Additionally, the Comanche Nation entrusted him with creating a commemorative emblem and medallion, and Comanche County, Oklahoma, commissioned him to design a directory cover. These commissions highlight his esteemed reputation and talent as an artist.
