This volume contains a carefully chosen selection of the paintings by the Southwestern artist Robert Daughters, works representative of his voluminous output and vigorous style.
The paintings reproduced here offer an overview of the works of an artist who hit his stride early in his half century of painting. They indicate the themes that Daughters returned to through his endless fascination with what he had seen—and continued to see—in his adopted landscape. It is an area that, no matter where else he travelled, he returned to with new enthusiasm and wonder.
Daughters passed away on October 24, 2013.
