+Add origin to My PreferencesNative American Seminole and Shawnee Indian Fine Art
The Seminole are a Native American tribe originally from Florida. They comprise three federally recognized tribes and independent groups, most living in Oklahoma with a minority in Florida.
The Shawnee or Shawnee nation are an Algonquian-speaking tribe indigenous to North America. In colonial times they were a semi-migratory Native American nation, at times inhabiting areas spanning present-day Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Western Maryland, Alabama, South Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and Pennsylvania in the United States. They were removed to Indian Territory west of the Mississippi River in the 1830s. Today the three federally recognized Shawnee tribes are all headquartered in Oklahoma.
