Rachel Curley Diné was an active weaver from the 1940s until she passed away in 2000. She spun her own yarn rather than purchase commercial spun yarn and she continued the tradition of Two Grey Hills patterns. She was known for the fineness of her textiles.
Curley was equally adept at making small or large textiles. In fact, she is famous for weaving one of the largest Two Grey Hills/Toadlena textiles - 17 feet 8 inches x 11 feet 7 inches which she completed in 1957 after it was on the loom for over three years.
