Monica Naranjo (1975- )

Monica Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo is the daughter of Geri Naranjo, who was her mentor, and granddaughter of Ursulita Naranjo. As her mother and grandmother before her, Monica is an extraordinarily talented artist. As a teenager, she was constantly winning first, second and third place awards at Santa Fe Indian Market. She exhibited there with her mom throughout the 1990s. Her brother, Kevin Naranjo, also is a potter of note.
