Teddy Draper, Jr., was born October 3, 1949, on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. He lives and works near Chinle, Arizona. He is the son of a former United States Marine Corps Navajo Code-talker (Teddy Draper, Sr.) who had served in the South Pacific during World War II.
