Lowell Talashoma, Jr., Hopi Pueblo, has been carving katsina dolls since the 1980s. He is the son of Lowell Talashoma, Sr. He has won awards at the Heard Museum in Phoenix and at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. His grandfather, Wilburt Talashoma was also a carver, as are his uncles Todd Talashoma and Wilburt Talashoma, Jr. He comes from a very talented family of carvers.
