Isleta Pueblo artist Mona Teller has been making pottery since ca. 1972. She is known for storytellers, Nativities, Corn Maiden, figures, turtles, polychrome jars, and pottery bowls. Mona Teller is a fine clay sculptor. She forms graceful figures for Storytellers, Nativities, and other figurines. Mona has a strong sense of design.
Mona Teller (1960- ) Pa-Shawn-Thupa-Wa is the great-great-granddaughter of Marcellina Jojola; great-granddaughter of Emilia Lente Carpio; granddaughter of Rudy and Felicita Jojola; daughter of Stella Teller and Louis Teller; sister of Chris, Robin and Lynette Teller.
