Ruth Paymella (1904-1989)

Ruth Paymella, Kachina/Parrot Clan, was a Hopi/Tewa potter who lived in the Tewa Village atop First Mesa. She was an outstanding potter who seemed to like to make bowls that she beautifully decorated in polychrome colors.
