Limberts Arts & Crafts Furniture
Grand Rapids and Holland Michigan
Reprint of two Limbert furniture Catalogs
by Turn of the Century Editions, New York, 1981
Charles P. Limbert started manufacturing an extensive line of “Dutch Arts and Crafts” furniture under his own name in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1902. In 1906 his offices and factory were moved to Holland, Michigan, to escape from the overly commercial character of Grand Rapids. By this time, Limbert had clear prominence in the American Arts and Crafts movement.
The two catalogs reprinted in this book demonstrate the deserved recognition of Charles P. Limbert as a leading force in the evolution of Mission furniture.
