This is an oversize art book of sculptures by Francisco Zuńiga, presented in 317 pages. The book measures 13-½” x 12”, and slides into a slip case. The seven-page Introduction by Carlos Francisco Exhevarria is in Spanish. An additional seven-page section of conversations with Zuńiga also is in Spanish. The text from page 25 to page 40 is in English.
Zuńiga began his sculptural career in Mexico producing monumental sculptures. Mostly, here in the United States we are treated to his smaller works in stone and bronze, but he devoted most of his career to monumental sculptures. This is an extraordinary book of extraordinary art.
