Lane Coulter and Jan Brooks lead lives that extend far beyond CoulterBrooks Art and Antiques, their Santa Fe gallery. In fact, in preparation for this story, Lane and Jan both sent long resumes that evidence extensive careers as studio artists, curators, writers, and educators. But there is a thread that runs through their lives: a love for beauty, authenticity and how objects tell us about time, place, and people’s lives.
