Example image from this magazine.“Life is a Many-Splendored Love in Phoenix and the Wonderful Valley of the Sun”

Arizona Highways, Vol. LI, No. 5, May 1975

The issue covers life in the valley of Phoenix, including city dwellers, Navajo natives, and Apache natives.  There are some beautiful photographs of Natives in traditional dress. See the Apache young girl on the cover of this issue, dressed in traditional buckskin dress with beaded overlay.  Behind her is an Apache Gaan Dancer in full dance regalia. The beautiful and important photographs alone are worth purchasing the issue.
