This collection of instructions was first put together from my beadwork class at Denver Free University in 1979.

Over the past 15 years I have crafted beadwork and learned techniques from other artisians of many tribes and areas. My influences are from books, museums, private collections, contemporary artists and the art world at large. I want anyone interested in this unique Native American craft to learn the basics and practice the techniques so not to allow this art form to be lost or to stagnate in our fast changing world.
