Hopi Pueblo artist Zella Cheeda was particularly well known for her redware pottery. She is represented in the Museum of Northern Arizona and the National Museum of the American Indian collections.
Zella Cheeda (1901-1997) was known as Antelope Woman or Antelope Girl and signed her pottery with the image of an antelope. Zella was from Hopi Pueblo, First Mesa, village Sichomovi and was an active potter from 1950 to 1980.
