San Ildefonso Pueblo artist Rocky Martinez is known for his blackware polished pottery.
Rocky Martinez is apparently not a full-time potter but has made pottery occasionally working with his grandmother, Juanita Wo-peen (1909-1988), according to information from Adelphia Martinez, daughter of Juanita Wo-peen.
