Mary Keesie, Navajo Weaver

Talented weaver Mary Keesie (1927-2011) is a Diné artist. She is from Pinon, Arizona. She is known for her design work, including early J. B. Moore textiles. Her textiles are from the mid-twentieth century. She chose to weave with commercial-dyed yarns.
