Leland Sekayumptewa, Hopi Pueblo, has been carving katsina dolls since the late 1970s. He is from the village of Hotevilla on Third Mesa of the Hopi Reservation. He attended the Phoenix Indian High School from 1978-82. He exhibited at the Hopi Show, Museum of Northern Arizona in 1980.
