Frank Albert Rinehart is famous for his photographs of Native American personalities and scenes but particularly for photographing those who attended the 1898 Indian Congress in Omaha. Rinehart’s photographs portray Native American persons with character and sensitivity showing strengths of those photographed. It is because of his presentations that other photographers began presenting Indians in such a manner.
