Fannie Pete is a well-known weaver of Navajo rugs and particularly of a folk-art style. She was represented in the collection of Chuck and Jan Rosenak, collectors and authors of Navajo folk art. She is a daughter of Bessie Pete, another famous Navajo weaver, and a sister of Julia Pete, also a famous weaver.
