+ Add Artist to My Preferences
Hopi-Tewa artist Loretta Navasie Koshiwa is a granddaughter of Paqua Naha (1st Frog Woman) and daughter of Joy Navasie (2nd and current Frog Woman).
Loretta Navasie (1948- ) produces pottery of the white-slipped variety, as does her mother. Her hallmark is the same frog used by her mother, with the addition of the letter L; now many carry just the Frog symbol.
