Anita Polacca, Hopi Pueblo, was the daughter of Hopi potter Violet Huma, from the village of Sichomovi. She was an active potter from around 1940 to 2002, black and red on yellow bowls, some with lids and cylinder vases. She is represented in the collection of the Museum of Northern Arizona.
Published information indicates that she was active until 1985, however, friends of hers told us they were purchaseng from her up to 2002, so we are correcting our posting to reflect this new information. We very much appreciate input from others.
