+ Add Artist to My Preferences
Acoma Pueblo artist Anita Garcia Lowden was one of the earlier pueblo potters to use ancient Mimbres designs. All the pueblos share common prehistoric ancestors.
Anita Garcia Lowden (1930s-1970s) was the daughter of Jessie Garcia and sister of Stella Shutiva. She passed away at a relatively young age before her work could be appreciated and collected by the wave of collectors that sprang up in the decades following the 1970s.
