Alvina Garcia Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo Pueblo), active about 1960,s, polychrome and black-on-cream, jars, vases, and dough bowls. Her mother, Virginia Lovato, and her grandmother, Santana Moquino, were her mentors. She follows all traditional pottery making methods including gathering local clay, using all vegetal or mineral paints and firing outdoors. Alvina's work can be seen in the collections of Wright Collection, Peabody Museum, Hardvard University, Cambridge, MA.
