This Zuni channel inlay bracelet and necklace set, dating to the mid-1930s, exemplifies the artistry and craftsmanship of classic Zuni jewelry. Attributed to Lee Edaakie, the set is crafted from sturdy ⅛" thick silver and showcases the meticulous channel inlay technique for which Zuni jewelers are renowned.
The wide silver cuff features a striking turquoise inlay design on the top, complemented by four rows of intricately stamped V patterns along the side panels. The matching necklace consists of three hinged sections, forming an elegant crescent-shaped centerpiece.
Stickers on the back of both pieces read: "CLASSIC ZUNI CHANNEL WORK, CIRCA 1935, POSSIBLE WORK OF LEE EDAAKIE".
