Many times, when looking at Zuni petit point work, one must think of the amount of time it took to make something so delicate and dainty. Even more than its needle and thread counterpart, turquoise and silver petit point requires patience and precision. Every tiny stone must be cut exactly and set securely in a small bezel. The artist, Robert Eustace, who created these went one more step by carving ridges in each tiny petal in these gold earrings. Interspersed between the petals of the flower are small drops of stamped gold.

Robert Eustace is the brother of Zuni jewelry artist Ben Eustace and is known for high-quality Zuni petit point jewelry. The earrings are signed with the artist's signature along with Zuni 14K.

Provenance: these Zuni Pueblo Gold Petit-point Clip Earrings are from a former New Mexico resident who now lives out of state
