An unknown Zuni Pueblo silversmith created this beautiful pair of earrings. Four precisely cut turquoise gemstones fit tightly and beautifully in each of these oval turquoise pendants that are suspended from the post adornment of a single turquoise. This elegant pair of earrings does not bear the name of the maker.

Channel inlay is the technique of placing a stone, in this case, turquoise, within silver frames. This is an extraordinarily difficult thing to do, particularly when working on a small scale.

Condition: very good condition

Provenance: this pair of Zuni Pueblo Channel Inlay Turquoise Earrings Pair is from the collection of a client
