This large Taos Pueblo Fourteen Piece Pottery Nacimiento by Alma Concha includes a very tall angel with lovely designs on her halo, back and wings; a kneeling Mary and Joseph, both with a pair of feathers on their head and each is wrapped in a blanket; and the Christ Child in a traditional cradleboard with designs on the protecting arch. Aside from the open mouth of the angel, all the pieces have no painted eyes or mouths but do show a distinctive pointed nose.
The three kings have braids wrapped with rope and each is wrapped in a blanket. Their gifts to the Baby Jesus are three ears of corn, a ristra of chile, and three loaves of bread in a basket. There is a cow, a donkey, and two sheep. Each of the pieces is signed Alma
