The Journey of Kee Yazzie

Born in Arizona in 1969, Kee Yazzie embarked on his artistic journey at Brigham Young University in Utah, where he studied architectural and drafting design. Of Navajo and Hopi descent, Yazzie is a self-taught artist who has been crafting jewelry since 1995.

His work has been recognized with awards from prestigious institutions such as the Eight Northern Pueblos, the Navajo Market at the Museum of Northern Arizona, and the Heard Museum, among others. In addition to his artistic talents, Yazzie is also a polyglot, fluent in multiple languages including Laotian, Thai, and Khmer.
