Robert Tenorio is indisputably one of the finest potters of the 20th century from Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo).  He is always experimenting, learning, trying new ideas.

Robert Tenorio made this large bowl and ladle for Adobe Gallery to use as a punch bowl during gallery events.  We used it for years and, when the slip started flaking off, I had Andy Goldschmidt apply a glaze on the interior of the bowl.  I did not have the ladle glazed but should have.

I purchased this from Robert on 01 September 1978, under the Pueblo Crafts Arts business, a week before opening the gallery on 08 September 1978 in Albuquerque Old Town.
