The potter, Reycita Naranjo, who made this deep bowl, is one of a large family of potters, all of whom are exceptional artists. Her sisters, Clara Shije, Elizabeth Naranjo, Florence Browning, Mary Singer, and Mary Carlisle all are recognized as outstanding potters. One look at this beautifully deep dish with a carved Avanyu design filling the interior of the bowl verifies the exceptional talent of the potter. Reycita has been an award winner at Santa Fe Indian Market since 1981 to the present. She has been featured in numerous publications as well.
Condition: The bowl is in original excellent condition
