This beautifully fired red jar made by Richard Ebelacker was awarded First Premium at the 1982 New Mexico State Fair. The blue ribbon accompanies the jar. The massive jar features a carved Avanyu on the shoulder above the mid-body, above which is a short curved graceful neck. Richard Ebelacker (1946-2010) was a son of Virginia Ebelacker.
