The small tablita was made from a single piece of wood and has a stepped cloud on top and three painted clouds on the face. Rain is falling from the clouds. There is a short stick protruding from the tablita face just below the three clouds.
This large Pueblo tablita was constructed from four slats of wood which were then tied together with string. The center panel is topped by a cutout of a flower and leaves, below which, on a black background, is painted a butterfly. The two attached side panels each have cutouts of clouds at the top and again at the center. The colors used are green, yellow, white red and black.
Condition: the wood in both tablitas is in very good condition. There are some paint abrasions and paint loss on both.
Provenance: these Pueblo Vintage Wood Tableta with Miniature Tablita is from the estate of a former client.
