This late twentieth century Diné of the Navajo Nation coral bracelet has a foundation that was assembled from two strips of silver. The bottom silver strip was darkened, and the top layer superimposed over it was highly polished. Before combining the two silver strips, the center of the top one was cut out across the top of the bracelet. Small silver attachments between the outer silver strips outlined boxes for each coral mount.
Seven small round and domed coral were set in silver bezels which were then attached to the darkened lower strip of silver. Setting each coral in an isolated square added tremendously to the attractiveness of the bracelet.
