This bracelet surprises one when discovering that the interior of the band is highly decorated with a series of traditional jewelry stamps. Additionally, it is stamped STERLING and has the initials of the silversmith ERB. The stamped designs on the exterior of the band differ from those on the interior. The stamping on the interior and exterior is excellent. Nine beautiful, matched coral cabs are lined in a row on top of the bracelet.
Ernest Roy Begay is a contemporary Diné jeweler who was born in 1956. He has taught jewelry classes at Monument Valley High School. He is an award winner at the Gallup Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial for a number of years having won Best of Class for 5 consecutive years.
